Call for Musicians

for the International Masonic Week 2025
Organized by the MIFM (International Museum of Freemasonry)
Theme: "Freemasonry: Building Better Human Beings"
July 21–27, 2025 | Castillonnès, France

As part of the International Masonic Week 2025, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for talented Masonic musicians (or non-mason musicians playing pieces composed by freemasons) to contribute to this exceptional event. If you are a musician, have a band, or perform solo and would like to support the project of the International Museum of Freemasonry, we invite you to share your musical talent with our public and community in July in France during the International Masonic Week 2025.

Call for Musicians
We are seeking musicians to perform during the evenings throughout the week, adding a special artistic dimension to the event. We welcome various styles and genres that reflect the diversity and creativity within Freemasonry. Whether you are part of a band, a solo performer, or enjoy playing in smaller ensembles, your participation will greatly enhance the atmosphere of this week-long celebration.

Why Participate?
By sharing your musical talent, you will support the creation of the first and only International Museum of Freemasonry, a nonprofit organization independent of any specific Masonic body. Your participation will not only enrich the event but also directly indirectly contribute to raising funds for the museum’s development, ensuring that Freemasonry’s artistic and cultural heritage is preserved for future generations.

Submission Details
If you would like to participate, please send us the following details:

• Name of your band or performance style

• Brief description of your music and your Masonic background

• Link to a sample of your music (if available)

• Preferred performance dates (between July 21–27, 2025)

Submission Deadline: As soon as possible, or no later than Janvier 31, 2025
We are exploring the possibility of remote performances for those who may not be able to attend in person, though in-person performances are preferred. Please indicate your preference in your submission.

Special Invitation
All participating musicians will be invited to the Gala Dinner hosted by the Confrérie des Vrais Amis de Castillonnès, a traditional oenogastronomic fraternity supporting the museum while promoting the renowned products and lifestyle of this region of France. It is a unique opportunity to connect with with fellow musicians and music enthusiasts.
All artists may also be inducted as Knights of Castillonnès, recognizing their contribution to this prestigious project.

Besides supporting this noble project, you will have the pleasure of meeting brothers and sisters while enjoying a few days of vacation in the South-West of France, famous for its gastronomy, history, and mysteries! Several tastings will be organized and offered to the participants.
